At Joplin’s Java and Family Piano Co., we LOVE to support music! Recitals are a critical element for growing as a musician — after all, performing one’s music is half the fun! Moreover, we believe that it really helps to have frequent opportunities to perform so that it isn’t such a scary prospect.
That’s why we host monthly recitals that all students in the area are welcome to attend. Just give us a call at least 72 hours ahead of time so we can print up programs.
In our bright, cheerful space, we can hold roughly 60 people. To be even more welcoming, we provide FREE black coffee; the rest of our café items are very fairly priced. We also have a 9’ 4” Mason & Hamlin grand piano available for students to play — this is a great opportunity to feel like a pro!
We also welcome all the local music teachers to host their recitals with us. Just like with our regular recitals, the space is free to you and we provide free black coffee. Of course, we work hard to help you make your event a success.
