At Family Piano Co., we offer a variety of music classes and lessons. This includes private lessons for piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin/viola, clarinet and most other band and orchestral instruments. We also offer a variety of group classes for all ages.
We have wonderful teachers that teach all ages and all levels. We would love to have you join us!
Private Lesson Prices (In-Store)
Private Lessons are held Once-a-Week and you will have the same teacher each week. We will do our best to arrange a time slot that works best for you, and that will be your lesson time each week. (Lesson Materials are not Included)

We now offer Private Piano Lessons that are taught in Your Home! We have a wonderful piano teacher that will come to your house once a week to teach you and your family piano lessons. (Prices are for local Lake County Towns-see Store for more details) (Lesson Materials are not Included)

Group Classes
Group classes offer an opportunity for learning with family and friends, in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Each program semester runs for 10 weeks, and meets for 1 hour per week. Semesters begin in January, March, June and September. Please call for more details.
Adult Piano Level 1 (Ages 15 and up)
This is a casual, supportive environment designed for adult and teen learners. Whether you have never taken lessons before, or are looking to pickup where you left off as a child, this is the perfect class for you!
Pre-registration is required.
Adult Piano Level 2 (Ages 15 and up)
This class is designed for the student with a “little” more experience playing the piano. This level is more advanced and picks up where Level 1 left off. You might even make some new friends!

Group Class Rates
Adult Piano Level 1 and Level 2- $139 per person for 10 week class (Lesson Materials are not Included)

Commonly Asked Questions
How do payments work? Private Lessons: Tuition is billed monthly and is due by the first lesson of each calendar month.
Group Classes: Tuition is due in full at the beginning of each program semester as defined in the tuition schedule for each 10 week program.
Can I practice on an electronic keyboard?
We strongly encourage practicing on traditional acoustic pianos. Keyboards are acceptable for non-piano students, or for piano students in a temporary or other special situation.
What are the benefits of studying piano?
Piano lessons are very beneficial for both children and adults. For children, it benefits education skills used in reading, science, and math. It helps develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, as well as brain and memory development. Adults who study music enjoy better emotional and physical health. They also have the benefits of personal satisfaction, increased confidence, coordination, enhanced memory and concentration.
Will there be opportunities to perform?
Yes! We have frequent recitals, as well as concerts.
